Meet Renee & Kate, two transplants who both happen to make their homes in the stunning Fox River Valley, Illinois. Their friendship began with a shared interest in small businesses and exploring everything this region has to offer.

MEET RENEE
Married and mom to 1 boy and a set of boy/girl twins. Outside of being CEO of Household Operations, you will find Renee at her St. Charles studio slaying spray tans (through her company 911 Glow Spray Tanning). If you see Renee with headphones on, she’s likely listening to true crime podcasts reminiscing about when she interned at the mortuary. There is no shortage of professional experiences for Renee to share with you, from flight attendant to 911 dispatcher, she has run the gamut. Renee is happiest when attending 90’s cover band concerts and is always looking for someone to go with.
MEET KATE
A mom of two kids & two dogs, and a wife to her partner of over 20 years. When not spending time with her family, you will find Kate shopping for plants with no more room to keep them, redecorating her house, or organizing every closet and cabinet by color. She rarely declines an invite to see live music or sit on a patio. Kate has a hard time drinking water therefore you’ll find her regularly dehydrated. She likes to wind down her days with Bravo and be tucked into bed by 8pm. If you see her out past that time, it’s for something important!
